Why this exists
What we hold ourselves to
- Show where the number comes from. Every result lists the web pages the estimate was based on.
- Say when to use a professional. Results over $1,000 come with a suggestion to get a second opinion before selling.
- Be clear about limits. We can't authenticate items or see hidden damage, and every result says it's an estimate, not an appraisal.
- No ads, no data selling. There are no third-party ads on this site, and photos aren't stored after your result.
How it works, in short
Google's Gemini AI identifies the item in your photo, searches the web for what similar items sell for second-hand in the US, and gives a price range. We check its answer against a fixed format before showing it, and decide the suggested next step ourselves from the value. The full method explains each step and what can go wrong.
How we make money
We sell credit packs. One credit is one valuation, and your first one is free. We don't run ads, sell data, or take a cut when you sell something.
What we're not
- Not appraisers. Our results can't be used for insurance, tax, estate or legal purposes.
- Not a marketplace. We don't list or sell your items.
- Not a buyer. We never make offers on what you value.
